The past few days have been rainy (which we have loved), but Wednesday was a warm, sunny day. We decided to go outside and enjoy it with some chalk. When I say it was a colorful afternoon, I actually mean Norah was colorful.

So, how did that happen?

| Because the best part about chalk is carrying it around. |
She still doesn't completely understand that you draw with chalk. But she has a blast carrying it around and setting it down, picking it back up, and putting it down somewhere else. And as she does this, she says "Chak!" over and over.

She had so much fun playing with her chalk, she asked to go back out and play some more that night. It was dark by then, so we had to put it off until the next day. Now that the rain washed away our drawings, we can go outside and draw some more. She'll like that!
